This ferry is situated in Meeswijk, only just across the border with Stokkem. Meeswijk is situated adjacent to the river called the Maas (or Meuse in French). It has a ferry that connects Meeswijk (Belgium) with Stein (Holland). Cafe Overzet was well known in the area because it was near the ferry. For years this place was a venue for walkers, cyclists and kayakers.
